We just saw Miami Vice last night and it was straight gonzo. It is getting some positive press but we read all the negative reviews before venturing into the theater. Basically they are all wrong. The only people who will be upset are the ones who wanted it to be next episode in the series. I mean Michael Mann directs it - who else would you have picked? He is the Miami Vice King. I would say Miami Vice is our SONR movie. If I went with somthing on DVD, I would go with the Neas referenced Dazed and Confused. Doesn’t get much better.

of course there is more to the no rulez lifestyle than fashion, but it’s the shorts that open the door to preaching the gospel of the absence of rulez!

also, no rulez for me isn’t just a carte blanche to be a slob. if that’s what no rulez is for you, go for it. i’m not mad at you. i’m just sayin’ that it is possible to reconnect with your inner dirtbag and look good doing it.

in other newz, be careful not to overload your fanny pack. mine is hurtin’ until i can get to a sewing kitto reinforce the strap/pack connection.

well we have had a lack of updates and photo submissions so I am afraid the summer of no rulez is coming to a close. it’s been real, it’s been fun, but it hasn’t been real fun. JUST KIDDING! We get down til the leaves turn brown! Anybody want to post anything on this site just email camp@summerofnorulez.com - we will post anything. You want write a short story and post a chapter every week, just email it - we know some shit about cuttin and pastin.

In regard to the lack of content we have been super busy with other endeavors but we are still livin with no rulez. We have a bonercast coming your way with all chill music for this hot and muggy July. The chilled boner will go live tomorrow. Also we have had some choice picks for Under the SONR but they never make it to the site and just reside on little piece of note paper. Apologies. Also there is a SONR quote everyday but we are starting to think that SONR lifestyle destroys brain cells cause we can never remember that shit the next day. Additional apologies for we have had some choice SONR events which we have poorly documented but promise to make up for it. In the meantime just be sure to use proper suntan lotion - skin cancer could limit your summers on this planet. Fewer summers equals fewer shirtless nights. Case and point.

Here is a little Norfolk, VA SONR event. We have the Pretty Tasty gathering at Cogan’s tonight - go here for more info on that. Afterwards we hope to have had enough pina colodas to storm the theater for the midnight showing of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 - DEAD MAN’S CHEST! Pirates are definitely SONR in case you didn’t know so get excited. Truthfully you could do this in any city.

Also remember if you live in Nashville to head out to the buddytown 2 anniv party at The Ombi Bar this Saturday. It’s swass!

We have the Field Guide and Challenges pages and the miniblog plugin for wordpress does not work when used on page layout. So I am at a loss when coming up with a template that is easy to update and looks fascinating. any suggestions?

Also there is some great stuff getting written in the wiki - we are not very familiar with wikis and all of their capabilities so if anyone has any comments or suggestions on how to better use this it would be wonderful.
